I did 4 weeks of online physio with Pei and Martin to rehab a lower back injury. At the time I started I was already 6 weeks into my injury and still unable to squat or deadlift more than 70kg without pain.

Within just a couple of weeks with Pei I was already back to lifting more than my usual squat loads and my deadlifts very close to normal loads (and during a powerlifting peak block).

The difference I’ve noticed compared to other physiotherapists I’ve seen in the past, Pei actually teaches you how to prevent reoccurring injuries by working on proper technique, and strengthening problem areas instead of JUST prescribing relief/ release exercises.

Now I’ve got a solid warmup/ prehab routine for each lift, and accessories to continue strengthening my technique.

Lastly I’d like to add that if you’re not sure about online physio - this is much easier than I expected. You do some sessions at home and some at the gym with minimal equipment for the home sessions.

The service at PB has been nothing short of exceptional and the capability in the team is amazing. I had extremely limited mobility stemming from tightness around a disc bulge, which had been severely impacting my deadlifts and squats for about 3 years. Pei is so expertly versed in powerlifting related injuries and movement patterns and she was able to identify the root cause within the first consultation. Following a methodical rehab program across 6 weeks where I had the opportunity to get treated by Martin, Harrison and Victor as well as Pei, I have been able to deadlift without issue after 3 years. The communication between them to make sure my progress was linear and staged as well as the expert knowledge to begin improving the way I move was top class.

Beyond exceptional.

The team at PB physio are so welcoming! From the moment you walk into, till you leave. I came in as a very novice lifter, exploring powerlifting. But I needed some guidance on proper technique. Pei and Victor have really helped me explore different ways to approach all my lifts. As well as helping treat some minor injuries related to both the gym and also my line of work in dental. They are all incredible here!

PB is 100% worth it! I'm so thankful my coach reccomended PB. I thought my powerlifting journey was over when I hurt my back. Now I'm lifting pain free!

After months of struggling with injuries that held me back from training PB Physio has been a game changer. As an exercise health professional myself with years of gym and strength training experience, I needed a rehab approach that understood the demands of high-level training and wasn't just basic exercise protocols. Pei and her team have been absolutely unreal addressing the cause of my issues and helping me rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence. I’m finally back to consistent, pain-free training. I had trouble finding a physiotherapist that supports fully my bodybuilding journey. She has improved my range of motion, walking tolerance and lifting strength in not more than 8 sessions.With the initial 2 sessions, i have already had 50 percent less pain. Pei is the one for you if you want to return to sports to compete well and she knows biomechanics way more than alot of therapists i saw in Sydney.

What sets her apart is her observation skills and her unique approach to exercise training.

My best form is yet to come as i trust Pei is still teaching me the best technique as a Master athlete.

The team at PB physio were able to effectively treat and manage my injury online. I was back to training quickly, and Pei was able to make tweaks to my form to optimise my technique and prevent further injury. She kept in contact with my coach to ensure they were both on the same track. I hit PBs 7 months post glute tear, so a great recovery!

I had my doubts on how these remote sessions would work, if it even will help. But, those fears were gone day 1. I’ve been working with Pei for some few sessions now and it’s been amazing. She’s able to pinpoint where my pain was, then give me stretches to help alleviate the tension. I’ve been able to bench pain free for the first time in a long time.

I will say you will only see results if you put in the work. Pei has been called a magician but that’s if you lock in and do the work to fix yourself. I look forward to working with the team going forward.

I am so greatful and feel so lucky to have been able to have Pei as a physio! She is absolutely amazing!! She diagnosed what was wrong with my back in the first 5 minutes of our initial session, and was so helpful in getting me back to squatting and deadlifting after a really bad back injury. I honestly wasn't sure if I'd be able to squat or deadlift again due to the immense pain I felt, but Pei got me lifting again in less than 5 weeks, she is the BEST!!

I have been going to Martin at Marrickville for a significant time now for patella tendinitis and the results are showing. His approach of gym based recovery has both improved my performance on the court but also has improved my injuries. Highly recommend coming if you have any volleyball injuries.
